In compliance with the AICTE norms on establishment of SC/ST Committee in the Institute (p. 98 of Appendix - 6, Approval Process Handbo ok 2016-2017), and as per the Schedule Caste and Schedule tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, No. 33 of 1989, dated 1 1.09.1989, the following SC/ST Committee is being reconstituted prevent comprising of following person for Aakash Institute of Medical Sciences, Nalagarh to prevent commission of offences of atrocities against the members of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, to provide for special Courts for the trail of such offences and for the relief & rehabilitation of the victims of such offences and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto:-
