There is a pressing need, in our country in general and State of Himachal Pradesh in particular for educational institutions from the private sectors to promote, especially, the medical and para-medical colleges for providing vocational education, research and innovation. The establishment of Aakash Institute of Medical Sciences, Nalagarh is a humble step to achieve this objective. The college has been established by a non profiteering registered trust namely, Jagdish Chand Memorial Trust. The prime objective of the Trust is to provide quality medical and professional education to the aspirants, in order to uplift their social status in the Society. All our energy and efforts are aimed to bring more and more improvement to make our Institute comparable to the best in the country.
The Institute has been provided with the state-of-the-art laboratories and workshops equipped with latest and modern equipments, machinery, ventilated and spacious lecture halls. The college has also a centrally air conditioned computer lab, language lab and library in line with the requirement of affiliating authority and modern day needs.
The faculty is key factor in tailoring the right pedagogy, therefore, we have provided most experienced, dedicated and mature faculty who assess the real potential of each student and make them aware of their hidden potential.
Besides, infrastructure, facilities and amenities we also lay special emphasis on sports, games and extracurricular activities which are not only the vital nourishment, but also help in developing the sense of competitiveness among the students. Therefore, due importance is given to the sports, games, cultural, creative and extracurricular activities.
